I would definitely recommend that people visit the Nazi War Crimes exhibition that you point out along this walk. Its worth a half hour break from the tour.

There is a long walk from Checkpoint Charlie to the end of the tour. You could make this into two tours one which stops at Checkpoint Charlie and another which starts there. Is it possible to catch a bus?
